This year marks an exciting milestone for the Society for Medical and Biological Engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina (DMBIUBIH), as we welcome our first group of summer interns. In the late spring of 2024, a call for applications was published, inviting aspiring students to apply for this unique opportunity. Following a selection process, the outstanding candidates were selected.
Selma Drina and Lejla Bešlagić are talented students who have now embarked on their journey with DMBIUBIH, ready to contribute to and learn from our innovative team.
The internship will provide an opportunity for them to deal with the real-life tasks that our professionals handle daily. This hands-on experience is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application in the field of biomedical engineering. They have been actively involved in the preparation and implementation of various projects, gaining invaluable insights and skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
We are confident that this internship will be a transformative experience for Selma and Lejla, equipping them with the practical knowledge and skills needed to excel in the rapidly evolving field of biomedical engineering. DMBIUBIH is committed to nurturing the next generation of engineers and researchers, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact that our interns will make in the industry.
