Prva Konferencija za medicinski i biološki inžinjering u BiH nadmašila sva očekivanja

U organizaciji Društva za medicinski i biološki inžinjering u BiH (DMBIUBiH), u periodu od 13 do 15. marta 2015.godine, u Sarajevu je održana Prva regionalna Konferencija za medicinski i biološki inžinjering (CMBEBiH2015). Konferenciji je prisustvovalo više od 500 aktivnih i pasivnih učesnika iz 27 zemalja svijeta koji su imali priliku poslušati 13 predavanja eminentnih predavača, 68 oralnih prezentacija, 22 poster prezentacije, 9 studentskih radionica i 1 stručnu radionicu, organizovanu na Kliničkom centru Univerziteta u Sarajevu. Pored DMBIUBiH, domaćini Konferencije bili su Internacionalni Burch Univerzitet i Medicinski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu, koji su bili i suorganizatori ovog naučnog skupa.

This event is supported by the International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of BiH. The partners of the Conference are the University of Sarajevo, the University of Tuzla, the University of Zenica, the University of Bihać and many other higher education institutions.

As a lecturer, the three-day conference was attended by eminent names of biomedical engineering such as Ratko Magjarevic, President of the International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE), Mark Bale, Chairman of the Committee for Bioethics within the Council of Europe, Pecchia Leandro, Councilor of the European Alliance for Medical , Biomedical Engineering and Science (EAMBES), Werner Mäntele from the Goethe University Biophysics Institute, and Mustafa Kahramanyol, Gulhane Military Medical Academy from Turkey.

Among the sound scientific names that gathered in Sarajevo were Hervé Liebgott, from the University of Lyon, France, and Atilla Aydinli, from the Department of Physics, Turkey's Bilkent University.

In addition, lectures were delivered by Dragan Primorac, university professor, pediatrician, forensic and geneticist, Yves Lemoigene with IFMP Ambilly France & CERN from Geneva, Switzerland, Mario Medvedec, clinical biomedical engineer, Damir Marjanovic, head of department for genetics and bioengineering at International Burch University, and Zijad Džemić, from the Institute of Metrology of BiH.

Since the aim of the conference was to present new findings that scientists in these fields have not yet presented, this was a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and present the latest achievements within the field of biomedical engineering under the slogan "Expand your horizons through biomedical engineering".

Kako je najavljeno, Druga Konferencija za medicinski i biološki inženjering u Bosni i Hercegovini biće održana 2017. godine.
