A dialogue for the future

Based on the joint initiative of the BiH Presidency and the UN Secretary-General, as well as recognizing the need for creating a space for dialogue and promoting cohabitation in BiH, the UN team in BiH, led by the UN Resident Coordinator, and in cooperation with the BiH Presidency, a project titled "Dialogue for the Future: Promoting Coexistence and Diversity in BiH" jointly implemented by UNESCO, UNICEF and UNDP.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Medical and Biological Engineering Society is one of the winners of the grant in the field of education, with the project "A Common Future Based on Common Interests", with the key goal of supporting social cohesion, promoting coexistence, intercultural understanding and promotion and development of biomedical engineering in BiH .

21.04.2015. In the Congress Hall, the UN building in Sarajevo was organized a symbolic granting of grants to all winners in the field of youth, culture and education, and officially signed an agreement between the Society for Medical and Biological Engineering and donors of funds. Yuri Afanasiev, the UN's resident coordinator, wished all the winners a welcome and successful implementation of the project.

In the field of education, 11 grants for project implementation have been allocated. Among the large number of applications, among the best, who received support for implementation, was the project of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Medical and Biological Engineering Society.
